Casey Jernigan King

Casey Jernigan King is the Managing Attorney and Director of Operations for Watersound Closings & Escrow. Casey was raised in Brewton, Alabama, and grew up vacationing in the area with her family. Casey earned her B.S degree from the University of Alabama, magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, and earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Alabama School of Law, magna cum laude. After clerking for a federal judge and practicing law in Birmingham, Alabama, Casey moved to Santa Rosa Beach, where she continued her legal and real estate career. Casey has been in this area since 2005, and has more than 20 years of real estate legal experience and over ten years in the title industry. She also served as a Special Magistrate for the City of Destin for two years.

Casey is active in the local community and participated in Destin Forward and Leadership Walton. Casey is a member of The Alabama Bar and The Florida Bar. Casey is also on the Board of Habitat for Humanity Walton County and served on The Tree House Episcopal Montessori School Board for five years.

Casey and her husband Andy have two boys, Anderson and Berkeley, with whom they enjoy boating, youth sports, watching SEC sports and spending time with friends and family. The Kings are active members of Christ the King Episcopal Church.
